Up Electric Chair Vampire Front Yard Three Season Room

2004

I have gone back to school and am currently taking 2 science  courses.  These courses total 8 credit hours plus labs, add this on top of my 50 hour work week and up to 3 hour per day commute and I was very busy.

The Garage!

This year I got the crazy idea of building an Electric Chair.  One of the bigger Halloween stores in our area has the Distortions chair on display.  It is nice but I have 3 big complaints about it.  The first is that everything (lights, fogger, chair, sound) is turned on at the same time.  The second issue is that the chair itself moves around quite a bit which could be dangerous.  The final issue is that if the Distortions chair is left on for more than 6 or 7 seconds his store fills up with fog.  My chair is constructed in a similar fashion.  I however decided to build a faux control panel and use a programmable controller to automate the chair.  I then took the display one step further and created a story line which takes about 5 minutes to go through.  This way the different lights, motors, foggers and strobes go on and off in a sequence.  This is much better than the Distortions chair and I can build it for about the same price of their chair.

The Three Season Room!

This year we turned the three season room into a used Cemetery parts store.  Crazy Joe (microphone controlled skeleton) will sell you gently used tomb stones, body parts, even a full body if you need it.  Everything is guaranteed to have been used only once.
